Selected from a call for scores, my work Pangkur for sextet will have another performance in this year’s Nief-Norf Summer Festival 2018 on June 16 in Knoxville, Tennessee. This is in line with the 2-day Research Summit conference where I will also present a paper on the imaginary of Asia among Philippine contemporary music composers. This will be the first time I’m presenting a paper in a conference, so wish me luck!
